Hobo Ceiling Lamp by Gustaf Nordenski\u00f6ld for \u00d6rsj\u00f6<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n

The visible suspension rope makes the lamp flexible and portable. The name Hobo refers to the old handicraft \u201cluffarsl\u00f6jd\u201d, metalcrafts made by hobos in the old days in Sm\u00e5land where Swedish glassworks began. Hobos used to slepp in the heat of the furnaces in the hot glass studios, making wayward objects in bent metal wire.<\/p>\n

The lamp becomes a narrative of the power and force of the moment when the red-hot molten glass hits the brass basket, bulging, stopping and getting its final expanded form.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
