The idea behind NOG was to create a table which is not symmetrical nor obeys any geometrical rules. The concept was influenced by the realisation that the majority of existing tables and coffee tables follows precise and obvious lines.
NOG instead does not follow any rules, which allows the observer to see a wide range of various shapes, depending on the angle from which it is looked at.
