The Mikki chair by Kittipoom Songsiri was inspired from the pattern in a seat of mid-century scandinavian design chair. But Kittipoom use the solid wood to make a seat instead of using the cord in traditional way. So designer choose 2 types of wood (Oak & Walnut) for creating the color and graphic on the seat, making it more characteristic in comparison to chairs of similar design.
