Colorless object, uniform goods without any identity, and people are used to through away products easily. Layer is customizing chair that user complete the identity with each images. People can make their own chair by putting various layer as if people select songs they want to listen.
Chair can be used for appreciation when people don’t use their chair. So user can customize chair by changing layer as every that atmosphere and feeling. Chair is composed of acrylic frame and acrylic panel. User can print the image then just attach to the panel. This chair could be utilized in various ways. Furthermore it can change the mood easily. For example, when people want to change the mood, then they used to change the items and want to change the furniture for changing the mood. At that time, people used to throw away the items to get a new one then it become a trash.
If people can organized their items and make furniture as mood or as their taste, then they are going to have a great affection to their items. Because it is made for the only person also the only one chair which has own identity in the world. Because of that, they don’t need buy a new one. So, Layer can be the solution to the industrial society. Everyone can be creator and have identity with the Layer. Because readymade product in our society is similar to us. Through the Layer made by personal preference, I expect people to get attached to the object and expect to sustainable design.
