Designed by Theo Zizka while studying furniture design at the Danish Institute for Study Abroad, the Fårstol, or “Sheep,” chair is crafted from just one cut of wood. The restrained design is made of maple and finished with a cotton seat and leather and steel buckles.
Conserving some materials while using others as ornament, the piece nods to both minimalist and decorative instincts.
