Eagle Pendant Lamp by Gaël Wuithier for Woodlabo

Eagle collection by Gaël Wuithier for Woodlabo, consisting of five lights, was inspired by the «Eagle» lunar module which took the first men to the Moon in 1969. Woodlabo has reworked and developed part of the spacecraft’s fuselage and transformed it into an eagle. The Eagle collection plays on multiplying this form. Orbit, Landing, Moon and Lift Off are combinations of two or three modules and represent the mission’s four stages. The structure is birch plywood providing stability and lightness. The light enclosure is aluminum. The panels are spaced a few millimeters apart, letting light through and accentuating its outline.
