Backpack is the last new born project by LucidiPevere for the French company Ligne Roset.
It is an outdoor seating collection which includes a lounge armchair and a 2 seats sofa. Inspired by the world of sportware and camping, Backpack is an informal seat; it has an aluminum painted frame and – instead of the usual cushions – there is a long sack made of waterproof rubber fabric. Two cushions are inserted into it. The sack takes its final shape thanks to the metal frame and a buckle closes it. This element creates a recognizable detail in the rear/side view fastening the excess part of the bag. The real innovation has been to simplify the upholstered part achieving an object which really express its outdoor and informal nature.
